Postpartum BO

Anyone else going through this?? Every time I sleep I wake up sweaty and smelly and it’s not my usual body odor this is different since having my baby. I heard that it’s supposed to help baby find the breast but it doesn’t need to be this intense

girl after i gave birth i STANK I was so confused, like id come out of the shower already stinking?? It was HORRID Apparently you can really only smell it, idk how true that is but i just had to get thru it and then it calmed down or i just got used to it either way i didn’t notice it after a week or so

It's how baby knows your smell hormones are like yay let's Rev and smell horrible so the baby feels safe and knows to find us ugh it's so gross but natural I found lime juice to be the only thing that helps not even deodorant alone was enough for me I showered 3 times a day

it's normal ive had 3 kids and i remember when I had my first, i started smelly horrible thr second I had my baby and i didn't know why I was confused and I would put deodarant and wash with soap and nothing would get the smell off but i did see that it started to calm down after a couple weeks. I think it's just hormones.

I've only just recently read about this being a thing and it's worried me. I had COVID during the birth so didn't have any sense of smell after. I probably stunk but people were too kind to tell me 😭

Me & my baby shared the same exact postpartum sweat smell for the first 8 months of his life lol It really is how baby locates mom more easily.

Yes I had this so bad with my first! Lasted 2-3 weeks! I hated it!

Yeah, I sweat SO much more after having kids 🫠 hopefully when I'm done nursing things will level out again

Mine got better after about a month. My hormones calmed down a lot and I got my period at 7 weeks too 🥲

Yes!! I feel so gross, I have never had a BO problem in my life not even after my first two babies! This third has me struggling to get rid of the smell. I am constantly asking my husband if I stink, it’s not only annoying but a HUGE knock to my confidence. Thankfully now at 6 weeks postpartum I feel like maybe it’s starting to correct itself.
