How do you encourage your two year old to poop on the toilet?
Hey mamas my girl has been doing pretty good peeing on her pot and adult potty. When she poops, she takes it out her panty and drops it in the potty or tells me she pooped after the fact. I let her see that poop goes in the potty and we flush it together. I can’t pin point the exact time when she actually poops to catch her and put her on the toilet. I’ve been encouraging her and praising her each time she pees. Even when she poops I tell her good job and I put it in the potty.
Any tips will help? Thank you ♥️
I have her use the potty about every hour and if she pees, she earns a sticker, if she poops, she earns a stick on tattoo. The incentive has been working quite well. I also watch for her usual signs that she is pooping, she always squats, gets real quiet, and she will usually have a few toots before she actually poops. Today I heard her tell herself "I have to tell mommy and daddy when I have to poop" and she looked at me and said "I have to poop"
