Pumping
Has anyone started pumping at 35 weeks and it made them go into labor? I got the ok to pump at 35 weeks since I’m not high risk and Ik I should let labor naturally start on its own but I just wanted to hear everyone’s story

I started pumping at 36 weeks and went into labor at 37+5 and had him the next day!
How'd you get the okay so early? I've heard you're supposed to wait until 37 weeks

I started pumping twice a day at 36 weeks i went into labor at 38
@Annika tbh idek I just asked about it and my dr said it was okay
@Luv no you can definitely start beforehand but nipple stimulation can cause contractions so many Drs tell women to wait till after 37 weeks
i started pumping at 37wks in hopes to get things going. i don’t think it made me go early at all but it did cause contractions. my main intent however was to get a colostrum supply in case baby took a minute learning to latch

I can’t saw for sure if it happened for me but I did try to start pumping at 36weeks 5 days later Bub was born no warning signs
