@Emma he lives 10mins away and he drives a car there’s no excuse to why he can’t come round he always says because he works long hours during the week he just wants to chill at home all weekend but it’s not my fault he chooses to work his hours but always makes me think I should be running about after him. I’ve invited both my mum and dad round but they always say they are bus in their garden or shopping but always wants me to go to their house and I’ve had enough of doing it all the time x
Then it is up to them to come to you some of the time. I always stand that if someone won't make the effort to see your children, they won't be there if the sh*t hit the fan, so why bother? It needs to go both way x
You're not in the wrong at all. He wants to see him, he should make an effort. Obviously different if there is something inhibiting him being able to come to you e.g. disabled. Try inviting him to visit you? Like, "No sorry, but you're welcome to come up to us?"
