Tips for introducing formula

Hi all, My LB is 10weeks tomorrow and is pretty much EBF (he had to have a few top ups of formula for the first 3 days in hospital) We have been trying to introduce a bottle or 2 of formula ready for when I return to work. He had been taking them and drinking anywhere between 1 and 3.5oz but then still wanted the boov afterwards. He has started to spit the formula out and not have anything besides the boob. Any suggestions on how we can make the formula work? I've thought about trying to mic breastmilk with the formula but I don't really get time to pump and not sure how it would work ratio wise either. Any help would be greatly appreciated x

I think in most places your work legally has to give you time to pump, just saying! With the formula, I’d switch to a different brand first and see if he prefers something else more.

Or start with half & half bottles then slowly decrease the amount of breastmilk til he’s used to the taste

@Mariah thanks I'll give that a go. I work in a school so it isn't really feasible in my opinion and I also don't get much milk when I pump, usually 2-3oz total from both boobs x

My baby wouldn’t take formula either- turned out he hated the bottles. We tried every type of bottle and finally tried the Lansinoh bottles and it worked! )Also transitioning from EBF to combo/formula for when I return to work.)

@Lauren thanks, i didn't think of changing the bottles x
