Meal or bottle first?

Hiya. So I've got a bit of a situation I'm kinda more curious about. So, just gonna use today/right now as an example. So my daughter is always full of beans and hyper up until the point she's either tired or hungry. My fiance brought her home and I wasn't sure when she was due a feed. She was just very hyper and playing for a while, so I was cleaning. And then she got cranky, but I could tell she was hungry rather than tired. She got clingy, as she usually does. Had her on my hip while putting some pasta on to boil for her (and I already had a sauce pre-made) and since she was kinda desperate, I decided I'd make her bottle. She had her bottle while waiting for her tea to finish. And she had some pasta after, hardly any though and was just hyper again and more interested in playing. But she also doesn't eat her food if she's starving and cranky cause she just wants that instant relief. Usually I do tea then shower and then bottle and bed. But she refuses to eat when she's too hungry and just wants a bottle. Do you think this could work if I gave her bottle, waited a while, then gave her her tea half way between when she's usually due another feed and then do the usual routine of "tea, shower, bottle + bed". Or does bottle then meal work for anyone before bed?

We have always done bottle before a meal and it's worked for us, our LG will still eat more than me in food after her bottle.

We used to do bottle, food then another bottle during bedtime routine but food and then bottle has been working better for us the last few weeks.

Our little one usually has milk (bf) about 3.30ish meal at 5 then milk again about 6.45 during bedtime routine

I think it depends on how old LO is! If she's over a year, I'd probably offer meal first!

@Shannen My lg is 10.5 months. She's always been a hungry baby and she was basically eating like a toddler by 7.5 - 8 months. Everyone talks about how their kids go through a phase where they just don't want to eat anymore (might still have comfort foods but seems to lose interest in meals etc) and apparently that usually happens in toddlers but my lg is quite a few months ahead food wise. She's normal weight, she's what she should be. She just eats more and grows more. Really having a hard time trying to get her to eat meals recently though😭😭

@Danielle @Natisha That's brill! Thank you! Xx
