I have totally been there and made the same post a few weeks ago because I couldn't even keep my eyes open and I felt sick. I gave my son screen time while I slept beside him and he was totally fine with that. I know it's going to happen again so honestly you just do it and endure it and it's almost like a muscle. For me personally I just feel like I have to keep getting a little bit ahead of myself in terms of staying organized and taking care of my health so that I reduce times like that where I have to rest due to being sick. Sending you love and compassion. Give yourself some kind words and rest and don't feel guilty about giving your child's whatever they need to be calm while you rest take care of your sanity
It’s hard but we push through
Who else will..... My whole house was out with gastroenteritis and between fatigue &vomit I had to tend to three kids. It's a super strength women are given, we endure and persevere through it all.
Do the best you can with what you have when you need to. It’s awful at times but you just gotta because if I don’t who will?
It’s extremely hard but I’m trying my best.. I have a newborn
I also get migraines regularly, it's a killer with active toddlers that can't play independently and don't believe in sleep hah 😐 painkillers, a numbing menthol stick for forehead, DIY head massage, shower, coffee and, something hydrating with natural sugar like watermelon all help me if I can't lie down in a dark room. Don't feel guilty, just do what you gotta do as others have said. That's great you have support from a friend x
@Lydia it pains me to hear how you get migraines regularly I can't imagine how you can function but you do and that's terrific. Do you mind me asking what's causing them
We just push through darling, I have been where you have are but I’ve moved away from all my friends and family so I don’t have a choice. Just keep going it’s nearly bedtime.
