WWYD?

I’ve got baby loss memory boxes from a second and third trimester loss. It was their anniversary the other day and I went to look at the boxes and they are ruined as soemthing has spilled on them. I have contacted the charity who provide these and I am able to get replacements for both Inc delivery for £30. I don’t care for the money but I feel attached to these original boxes but I also don’t want to keep their items in a box that is ruined and looks horrible with damage. Would you keep the boxes or get new ones ?

I think it would depend how badly ruined they are. If they are like box has been left in the rain for 3 years then brought in to dry and are crusty and mouldy then I'd defo opt for new ones but then I don't have money to spare. What you could do is keep a part of the OG box that is looking it's best and put that in the new ones so you will always have the OG box even if it's not the only keeping everything safe anymore. Sending love ❤️

@Ebony they aren’t ruined to the extent of them falling apart it’s more just on the looks. Soemthing has spilled over them (I’m assuming a can of cola) and it’s stained them. I have tried wiping and washing them with a baby wipe but it’s ruining the material and I don’t want to proper ruin it where it rips etc. I also wouldn’t want to bin them if I opt to get the new boxes but I don’t want their things being kept somewhere that isn’t pristine. Sounds ridiculous as it’s only boxes but still x

Not at all. It means something to you and that's the hardest thing to part with. You can always use the OG box to store something else like maybe winter stuff. You'll then still have them and get to see them but you've got the important stuff in the new boxes

Id keep it if it means alot to mean, who cares what they look like. X
