I’ve tried six different ones. Electric is much quicker. Hand held is stronger than wearable. I highly recommend medela pump in style advance or medela symphony. The pump in style advanced is no longer available so will need to be brought from eBay or somewhere like that. But I’ve wasted so much money on breast pumps… that one is definitely the best I’ve tried.

It'll depends on you. What you like to do and your nipples. I have elastic nipples so electric pumps don't work well on me. Manual / hand express or collection. You'll probably want collection cups for the first 3 months during newborn boobs. Because you'll spray everywhere when the milk flows and you don't want to waste that in pads. Then when your supply regulates you may need collection cup on the side baby isn't or pump that side after baby is done feeding. Electric is faster but stuck to the wall. Wearables can be good you'd have to try one and find out. Tip: don't watch how much milk is coming out. It can be stressful and stress lowers milk supply.

I'm just getting started but I have a wearable, handheld, collectors, and haakkas. My insurance gave me a hospital grade ameda mya joy plus and although it's not as convenient as my wearable it does get more out of me I bought the mom cozy m9 and I would not recommend this specific pump because it tends to leak and has several other issues but I will say mom cozy has excellent customer service and will help you with any issues with your device. I am getting a replacement pump free of charge. Wearable does make pumping more convenient and made it easier for me to stick to a pumping schedule and get more pumps in. I am always amazed by how much the haakkas collect just off of 1 suction. You will probably buy more than one. Look up reviews on YouTube and read Amazon reviews. Also I didn't realize most pump parts are recommended to be replaced ever 1-3 months. So you may want to take into consideration how easy it is to find the replacement parts and how affordable they are.
