Overfeeding solids

Only the few times I've fed him purees. He just spits the excess back up. That solidified my decision that BLW was correct for us. He just stops when he's full.

How can you overfeed solids? By doing too many meals a day when starting out? Babies and toddlers have good satiety cues, they won’t eat more than they need.

My kiddo got constipated 😬

@Amy I thought the same thing 🤔 as far as I know, a child won't eat more than they need to unless they are taught to. They'll stop when they're full

Can you overfeed on solids? When my little boy has had his enough he'll either shut his mouth and won't open it or he'll just stop eating? When he's finished I'll offer a little more and majority of the time he'll just play with it so I know he doesn't want anymore and knows he'll full
