The earlier the better, studies have shown late introduction increases the risks of allergies. The yolk is the part with the allergen, so make sure they get yolk and white. Dry scrambled or blended into porridge or congee works well

Make sure to not give anything else new for 3-5 days after because reactions can happen later

I’m going to be fully honest, I have the crunchiest mom ever and I fully trusted her in the way we introduce “allergen” type foods. The more I involved small amounts into normal meals early the less I saw reactions. My daughter was a little dairy sensitive but adjustments to brands and going to farmer market items really helped. We started eggs at 6 months cooked into foods and never had issues. The idea I went by was kinda exposure therapy? But to each their own and I know some babies may be more sensitive and you could be less comfy with the idea of that process, just what has worked for me mama!🤷🏼‍♀️💕

Honestly early introductions of all common allergens is recommended, especially if parent or baby has eczema, asthma, or allergies as they go hand in hand.
