Sleep time

Does anyone else still go to bed when their baby does? I have always gone to bed when my daughter does because that way I could maximize my sleep. However, she goes to bed around 7-8pm and whilst I'm tired then and do sleep, it feels I'm missing time with my husband as he often gets home at 6.30. My husband sleeps in our spare room because he found her too noisy and he needs sleep for work and we don't have a monitor for our bedroom so I can't check on her if I'm not in the room. She has slept 8.5hrs straight the last few days and I end up waking before her due to engorgement and being used to waking more. Am I the only one that still does this? Is there a way I can change? I'm wondering if I should just hold out til she moves into the nursery in a few months? Cause that has a monitor and we can definitely then leave her on her own for sleep?

I still go to sleep when my baby does and I actually love it as like you said, I get some good sleep as his longest stretch is the beginning of the night. We put him down at 7pm. I’m embracing it right now until he moves into the nursery 🤍

I do the same 🥹🩵

Me! I still go to sleep when my little girl does, she goes to sleep at about 7:30/8pm, I’ve been wondering if there is any way to get my evenings back but I’m so so tired come 8pm I just go to sleep, so does my partner

I still do and my little boy is 5 months. Hes goes to bed 7/7:30, we have a cuppa together normally then I go up. Im hoping once hes in his own room and camera is obv on him I will stay up a little longer. But deffo have to prioritise your sleep!!!

I do! My partner when he's home goes to bed with me... if he isn't tired he sits on his phone, sometimes I can spend an extra hour with him just talking but in bed lol. I'm exhausted and when I'm exhausted I'm horrible to be around anyway lol x

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I see everyone saying they put their babies to bed and then have dinner etc and I feel like those days are not here yet!

Me too!

I wish I did but yeah I can't because then I get no time with my husband so I put her to bed then cook and eat dinner and end up sleeping at around 11/12 but I severely regret it because she wakes several times and is up for the day at around 6-7 sometimes even 4/5 and I have to force her back down
