Seperate rooms all week @ 4 months but baby and I co-sleep/bed share on a floor matress in her room. If she was in a bassinet or moveable crib then I imagine we would go to the bedroom on weekends. We plan to get a king size slightly elevated floor bed for the bedroom around 1 year and then all sleep together then. Currently I nurse her to sleep and she nurses through the night and I will switch sides a couple times through the night to switch breasts. If we were all in the same bed, I wouldn’t be able to switch sides with her and would have to stay in the middle so partner doesn’t roll on her. **I have to add, since bed sharing is so frowned upon in the US, that I have done lots of research and am happy with our decision, following safety precautions and not looking for any feedback or opinions from anyone who believes it isn’t safe***
Never did separate rooms. I had a rolling bassinet I could wheel to the couch for night feeds and after the bassinet stage, I had a glider in baby's room with a neck pillow.
My little one is nearly ten months we sleep downstairs on a sofa bed on the nights her dad has work in the mornings
We all sleep together 🤷🏻
I am exactly on the same boat than Molly, and I am thinking if getting a sleep consultant, because bub now can't get to sleep without nursing all the time and previously she could.
We share room like we did before
My LO is 5w2d and husband sleeps in the spare room. I prefer it so I can get some micro naps in bc between the baby noise and husband snoring I gotta pick one struggle. On the weekends if he doesn’t mind getting up with the baby he can stay if not then he’s gotta go so I can try and nap when she does but I do miss him.
Still separate @ 20 mos
