We have used Aptamil since birth & baby boy is now 14 weeks old & had no problems along the way. We took 6 of the pre made bottles into the hospital & only ended up using 3, we were there 8 hours after he was born but babies tend to sleep a lot the first 24 hours. If you don’t take enough bottles the hospital do have some available, as soon as our baby was born they double checked we had milk ready to go. Good luck with everything xxx
My little boy was on cow and gate for the first month of him being in hospital but then when we switched to powdered cow and gate it made his sick so I went on the aldis version of Aptamil and he loves it
We used kendamil last time but it was a nightmare with stock … think I’m using sma this time as it doesn’t contain palm oil or fish oil but that’s personal preference, legally they have to all be nutritionally the same x
My girl was on cow and gate and we had a lot of issues. But then changed to aptamil and she was soo much better. But every baby is different as my sister using sma for her little girl and no issues.
They’re all so similar that really what it comes down to is what your baby likes. I got tons of kendamil because I was told it’s the best and of course it was the most expensive 🙄and my daughter hated it. She would literally gag when I gave it to her. Tried Hipp organic and that one she guzzled. A newborn will only have a small amount at a time but once the bottle of pre-made is open, it’ll only last 24 hours so if you might be in hospital a few days you might want to bring 3-6 just to be on the safe side.
