Our LG was doing the same until I realised it was teething - used teething poweder, gel, calpol, nirofen stopped crying and sleeps really well now. You're not awful mom, you're doing your best. Be strong, this will pass, it's just a phase🥰
You’re not an awful mum, you’re overstimulated and overwhelmed which is completely understandable and something every single mum experiences. I’ve had to put my baby in his cot and go into the other room to scream into a pillow and cry before, having a baby cry for long periods is HARD and nothing can prepare you for the rage and the guilt that comes along side. Is she in discomfort do you recon? Or just being fussy and needy? My little boy has been a PAIN this morning, and I’m nearing my limit of how much I can handle, and it’s not even mid day. You’re not alone xx
I feel you girl, I can't even wee in peace anymore as I'm sure she thinks she's going to be kidnapped whenever I put her down
Hey, I really relate to this, my little boy has been such a grumpy baby. He was screaming for 90% of his awake, non feeding time in the day. I try to give so much to keep him stimulated, lots of play, tried all the colic relief, nothing seems to have worked. It’s so hard. Sending you love x
Headphones or ear pods! I got some cheap Bluetooth amazon ones as I was getting so overstimulated. My baby had witching hour anywhere from 6pm - midnight! It's ALOT. I used to listen to music or tv programs and it really helped me cope xx
Thank you everyone for the comments. Nice to know I’m not the only one going through this. I do have a baby carrier which I do use and she is loads better in this, it’s just hard to have her on me 24/7, I just needed 10 minutes to get ready and have a quick wee. I think she is teething and just overall a Velcro baby with me as I do 99% of the parenting (I’m not 100% sure) hopefully it’s just a bad day on my part. We can do this xx
You’ve got this my love xx
Try this… it really helped with mine. I put it on louder than the crying and then he would realise, listen and then be mesmerised and relax (I would then turn the volume down … white noise but simulates the sounds of the womb. He still relaxes listening to it now and he’s 8 months. https://www.youtube.com/live/2FItVyxLNNc?feature=shared
Does holding and carrying your baby around helps? If it’s not discomfort then the baby just wants you. It’s a lot but holding a calm baby is easier than caring for a crying on 💛
