No, YouTube has videos how to install. Just look up how to install your model and usually there is a company video how to properly install.

no? never heard of that before

i went to 3 to try because i couldn’t recline it and nobody does it anymore due to liability.

No but they do check it before you leave the hospital!

Yes! There's a website I used to find stations locally that do it and called to schedule a time. My car seat was pretty loose and the EMT got it much tighter. He also gave a few pointers. The hospital where I delivered doesn't check the car seat base, only the car seat itself, so I found that resource to be super handy.

No, my man just put it in the car and there is instructions how to install the car seat. It’s actually pretty easy. I figured it out myself, and so did my man.

Most firemen or police aren't cpst certified. I recommend reading your manual front to back and look up a YouTube video if you're stuck on something. If you have Facebook, join the group Carseat Safety and there are trained cpsts to help you.

No, just followed the instructions on the car seat. The hospital didn’t check last time either. They just checked that baby fit in the car seat itself.

Does a newborn car seat go middle and behind

No, but I am getting my son's and infant car seat checked soon. It's free

@Mariah it can go in any of the rear seats! They recommend the middle as the safest but its really a preference

State troopers did mine today but you can take to fire station as well and there are other places that can help too.

@Curstin multiple people all around where I’m at are certified to do it. I was given a whole list from my OBGYN.

No

@June there was one person and he was off the day i needed it since i had my baby early and the carseat hadn’t come in yet 🥲

Yes! They do it for free, and it gave me peace of mind.

No, I’ve heard they don’t actually do them. go to umc! They give you a free blanket & beanie and a couple onesies too, they’re so sweet! They also have free car seats if you can’t afford one or just need one. You have to make an appt but I really enjoyed going. They actually teach you how to install yourself(:

It is a free inspection/install too
