Worried or hovering??
My sone started daycare yesterday and I have ALOT of updates, photos, and messages throughout the day. Today responds have been very scarce and only 2 photos at the beginning of the day. Lunch starts at 11:00 but a got a photo of a full plate at 11:17 stating all his lunch was ate. I’m just confused and haven’t had my questions answered. Idk.

I’ve noticed different teachers take different approaches. If someone else is covering a shift, they may take less photos or give less descriptive updates.

As a prior daycare teacher when babies/ toddlers first start we try to share as much as possible that first day to help put mama at ease. Days can be hectic watching multiple littles and staying on a schedule so when you don’t get responses during the day it’s because hands are busy with the kids first and foremost. Having worked in that environment I wouldn’t necessarily worry.
