Fit to fly form

I will be flying with Jet2 in a weeks time. I will be 27 + 4 weeks going and 28 weeks coming back. The website says I need a fit to fly from the Dr , however my GP said they do not provide it, I should ask my midwife. I can’t get hold of the midwife (they never answer😒). How else can I get this? I was thinking to wear baggy clothes , but am scared incase something happens.🤔

You have to purchase a fit to fly certificate from a private GP. You can find one online and go through their website

Oh thanks, will they be able to access my records though to confirm that I am fit to fly!

If you got through a private GP they normally do a physical exam like check blood pressure/heart rate etc but also good to take any notes you have too xx

Jet2 have a fit to fly letter on their website which you can print off and ask your midwife to complete. I’ll be using this mid-June when I fly with them. https://www.jet2.com/-/media/jet2/flights/pdf/pregnancy%20fit%20to%20fly%20form

Thank you so much ladies xx

I am flying with jet 2 next week at 28 weeks and took the fit to fly letter from their website (printed) to the midwife today and she stamped it xx much better than paying £50 for a private one online if you can!

Me to I did manage to get hold of one through my midwife as the doctors were saying the same I mean I will email mine so you can edit it if you want haha I don't know how much they check. My sister's just got back from holiday and they pulled her to one side so it's definitely worth sorting. A pain it's only jet 2 that want them at this stage everyone else is 32 weeks! But yeah your midwife should be able to just email you one to print

@Hannah aww thanks hun. I finally got hold of the midwife and she has agreed to fill in one of their forms . Does it have to be strictly a Jet2 one or the one midwife will be ok?
