Selfish?
I’m kind of upset. I had emergency surgery yesterday on my back. I am feeling great as far as the pain I used to have is gone. But I’m having pretty moderate incision pain and I need help getting up, and getting down. Can’t drive, can’t shower, can’t wipe myself.
My step daughter’s last day of college is Thursday. She wants to be moved out by tomorrow which is fine. It’s been planned that my mil would be there to help her pack and take her home with my husband also using his truck to pick up her things. Step daughter called and demanded right now that she wants the suit cases bought to her. She wants them now because she wants to go out tonight. Husband just left to bring her these suitcases an hour away and I’m pissed. The plan was tomorrow. I guess husband was showing me too much attention and she has to cut in. I hope I don’t need to go to the bathroom (#2) while he’s gone. He was helping me get settled and she called him again and told him to stop procrastinating and hurry up she wants to go out tonight.

Instacart her a new suitcase from Walmart and be done with it. The suitcase is not more important than your human needs and your husband should understand that. I'm sorry his judgements is so impaired and I hope you have a swift recovery. 💐

First off, how are you as a parent gonna let your child speak to you like that? That is craaazzzy, like im an adult and if i talk to my parents like that now there's gonna be trouble. 🤨 Like no that's just wrong. Her being that demanding, why didn't she get her own bags? If any of us kids talked to my parents like that my dad would've hung up the phone an dnot answered again that day.
