Please help

My son soon to be 17 months old,he was eating pretty well but one month ago his behavior towards food has changed, he almost not eating breakfast (one bite max) , barely eating lunch and dinner, everything else is pretty normal, but food rejection makes me worry a lot! Do we need to see Dr.? Perhaps someone else experiencing baby with no appetite?

He’ll eat when he’s hungry. Just make sure he’s still having wet diapers

This happens to us. Maybe be tooth? Sometimes she just wanted to eat baby food and we give her that

We are experiencing this too. I don't know what's going on, but it worries me

My son does that when he’s teething. Also they are figuring out hunger cues. Feed him the same time every day, limit the snacks, if he’s hungry he should eat regardless of what you feed him

Might be their teeth . Focus on soft non acidic foods. Don't stress. When they take the 1 bite be like "good job!!" Just keep mealtime chill. It'll pass

I recommend reading Raising Adventurous Eaters by Lara Dato! It helped me a lot with how we approach food!

Also part of becoming a toddler… they end up needing to eat less as their growth slows down a bit. My little was much more willing to try new things and the last few weeks is sticking to cheese and strawberries. Just keep offering something familiar and add something new to the plate once in awhile. Make sure snacks are nutrient dense so any calories going in are “good” ones
