@Shy in JESUS NAME AMENNNNN
May god do the same for me 🦋🤍
I’m on Zoloft now it definitely doesn’t make me feel crazy but everyone different but talk to your doctor about it?
I was on sertraline for 3 years and citalopram from 2 years and it massively helped my mental health. I felt the same and was trying to just get through it myself but if the tablets help then they help. Doesnt mean that you are failing or not coping. It means you are trying your best to do what you need to, to make you feel better. If you broke your leg you wouldn’t refuse a cast, if you have a migrane you take paracetamol. If you have a chemical imbalance in your mind then these are here to help you. I came off mine before getting pregnant too. Im starting to get more anxious again but instead of crying like i used to i feel more irritated and angry now which isn’t great either. I used to go to talk therapy. I didn’t think it would help at I was like ‘whats taking shot what happened going to do’ and ‘i don’t know what to talk about’ but it was really helpful Im sorry you have been through a lot. You are doing amazing and are getting the support you need for you and your babies ❤️
@Katlyn it’s my 4th day taking them and I have an appointment already set
@Demi thank you very much and on top of that I’m feeling pregnancy symptoms and me and my partner been having unprotected even before starting these I took one test and it was positive and the rest are negative. I do have a doctors appointment, but I was just asking if you’ve gone to the same or heard the same.
@Demi I just found out I’m pregnant and am on Zoloft too — is it worth getting off of it? I was just starting to feel better with it so I don’t want to get off it but of course don’t want to stay on it if it causes complications
We haven’t had unprotected and I’m def not pregnant as we definitely didn’t want 2 under 2 so are being very very careful 😂 Could the pregnancy symptoms be your body adjusting to the tablets again. I felt dreadful on mine for 2 weeks and then my body got used to them. It was the same with citalopram. I had a panic attack and nearly passed out on them but after a week i got used to them again
@Nataly talk to your OB. I was on Zoloft all of my 2nd pregnancy, your mental health can have an effect on your pregnancy so I would weigh the options with your OB
I had that mindset too, but I had to let that go and do what was best for my child. I had postpartum and Zoloft helped tremendously. I would not have been okay without it. The best way I can describe it is that when you’re really depressed, it can feel like a strong heavy hand is pushing your brow down. Zoloft takes the hand off, so you can fully open your eyes open. It was what I needed.
@Selena thank you for sharing 🤍
Went thru this and decided to get off of the Zoloft within 2 days of being prescribed got on my knees and prayed and been consistent with god and he took away “postpartum depression”
