Learn more about our guidelines.Right there with you. My little one won't drink anything but water from his cup. He's still getting breastmilk in a bottle, but won't even take the breastmilk in any container except the bottle. It's rough. We're down to 2 - 3 bottles a day, so I just don't stress it.
I’m right here with you too. He loves straw cups for water but won’t take his milk in a straw cup.
I’m in the same boat! I’m not sure if it’s a comfort thing or what. I’m trying some everyday.
Just keep trying! I had the same exact issue with my baby girl, the doctor said it’s ok to cut out milk for a few days up to 2 weeks and reintroduce with a straw! And I did it and it only took 1 day of no milk! The next day she drank it from a straw and has been drinking it this way since! I totally recommend trying it!
My oldest was like this. We started adding a tiny bit of milk into her water, so it gradually became she was drinking milk out of a straw cup as well
@Johanca R. What cups do you use?
@Katey for water we use the Zak straw cups! And sometimes the dr browns 360 cups, however, she takes milk from a different cup altogether which helped her differentiate water and milk, and after buying multiple cups for milk.. she chose to drink it from a dollar tree straw cup😂
@Johanca R. Did you also stop breastfeeding at that time. Like I am afraid to cut bottles since I think he’ll just bf from me whole day then 🫠.
I actually formula fed because I never produced enough milk.
