Toilet training

Has anyone else not started toilet training yet? Yes this is keeping me awake at 3.49am 😂 my boy has started doing a wee in the bath at night time and has just started to kind of grasp the whole “wee wee” thing. I’ve not pushed it and I’m not in a rush too, he’ll let me know when he’s ready but because he’s started doing a wee in the bath I’m thinking of trying to introduce a potty at bath time for that wee and slowly go from there? Just wondering what others were doing?

I’ve been asking for tips too- so far I’ve heard that the bare bottom method works for people and that reading books together about the potty has been helpful. Still a little scared to start though 🙈

Mine kept climbing out the bath and weeing on the floor so I got a potty for bath time, I put her on it when she gets out, we’ve had a few wees and a poo but she seems to have gone off the idea of sitting on it now. I’m not planning on potty training until summer (or if she decides she’s ready before then) so I’m not pushing it, but just going off her cues

I’ve not started yet but plan to very soon. My husband got him to wee in the shower cubicle after the bath which is less than ideal! 🙈

We did a day of it the other week but it wasn’t going to plan at all. So we said we’d try every 3/4 weeks so there’s no pressure on him

We haven't started yet, I'm not sure she's ready. She did strip off at the weekend and then go and get her potty of her own accord to sit on so I thought ooh okay let's go with this and see what happens. She sat on the potty for about 10 mins while I read books to her about potty training... Then she got off and proceeded to do 4 wees on the floor 😂🫠
