4 month regression at 13 weeks?!

Our 13 week old has generally been ok at nighttime sleep when well with bedtime around 9pm and usually two feeds through the night. He is EBF. The last few nights however he has started waking approximately every 2 hours! He will usually nurse back to sleep and sometimes goes back off very quickly only to wake again an hour or so later! We haven’t done any sleep training yet as he’s so young and he can’t self soothe - I can hear him trying to suck his hand etc but his coordination isn’t quite there. Is this the 4 month regression or something else? If he can’t self settle am i stuck until he can?! Help!

The “4 month sleep regressions” can happen between 3-5 months. When you’re ready, you can start transitioning to independent sleep. Not through cry it out but more gradual fading methods. I have some resources on this on IG. Would you like the link?
