Scrambled eggs, omelette, baked oats. Cereals wise we sometimes do cornflakes or cheerios but they do have some sugar so in moderation
Yogurt , flapjack ( can be homemade) , smoothies, melty puffs/ sticks , biscotti, wafer , veggie sticks . This morning my daughter had cheese & tomato omelette, 1/2 a red berry smoothie pouch , then stole and ate over half my Kellogg blueberry breakfast bar
Shredded wheat has the lowest sugar (less than weetabix). Store branded Rice Krispies and cornflakes are comparable to the sugar levels of weetabix. We also occasionally do shreddies which do have more sugar in them, but still on the lower end of the scale for cereals. Store branded are nearly always lower in sugar than branded I’ve found.
My 15 month old has a milk protein allergy and I’m having trouble coming up with solid foods that are easy for him to eat. Any ideas would be great!
