Carrier vs hip carrier

These hip carrier seems quite convenient to hold a baby. I'm assuming it would reduce aches and pains while carrying them as there is some support from the bottom. However I dont see a lot of reviews for this. I get that a carrier is secure while you are out and about but when you are home and trying to out baby to sleep, carrier is a hassle. Is there any reason why people are not opting this for babies over a carrier. What am I missing? https://uk.momcozy.com/products/momcozy-move2fit-hip-seat-carrier https://amzn.eu/d/cfvhBEw

Show your support

I had a hip seat with my eldest and they were great for getting a grumpy toddler in and out of the shop quickly or to have under the buggy when they won't sit in it but also won't walk! I will use it for my baby too but when he's older. The only benefit is that they take a little bit of the weight off you - they don't offer any support and you're still not hands free. I do however want to get a sling hip carrier as I think that would take some weight off and also support their back a little bit!
