My little boy is the same but he’s still on formula we’re slowly decreasing the oz and adding oat milk. Sometimes he just screams at the sight of food and he will not touch any foods that’s like wet it all has to be dry. He’s been referred for an autism assessment as he just won’t eat, he doesn’t speak, and other things
I would say it's the amount of milk. Reduce the amount of times he has milk and you should see a big improvement with food x
@Natalya my lg is the same. She doesn't eat any proper food. Is still on formula milk and her dietitian is happy with that
@Leonna so is our dietician, she’s just told us to slowly start him on oat milk so that’s what we’re trying to do, we’re currently stuck on 2oz in a 6oz bottle though🤦♀️
@Natalya my lg has 9/10 oz of toddler formula before her nap time and then 11oz of formula before bed time. She also has a bottle in the middle of the night as well. She said she needs to be having between 20 - 30 oz of toddler formula milk as day as its not too much or too little. As its got all the vitamins and minerals that he needs
@Leonna my little boy has an 8oz bottle in the morning, another one in the afternoon and one before he goes bed and he sleeps through. I got told if he goes below 17oz a day I’d need to give him a multivitamin, I’d prefer to get him on to oat milk so maybe he eats more because he’s lost weight and you can literally see all his bones because he’s growing taller but not gaining weight
@Natalya what formula or milk is he on? My girl isn't gaining any weight. She is staying the same weight though.
@Leonna he’s on aptamil pepti 2 he’s got a milk allergy along with a soya and egg allergy so there’s not a lot he can eat especially while out it’s even harder that everything has to be dry for him. He cried today because his chocolate wasn’t it’s usual shape so he wouldn’t touch it
It’s the milk. Cut back and you’ll see a huge increase in desire to eat solids.
