Put something in there that smells like you, like a t-shirt under their sheet. Spend time there in the day playing. Make it a happy place to be. Then start leaving them in there in the day whilst awake for 30seconds to start with. Say you'll be back in a min, go out of sight then come back, extending the time as you go

But it is so tough. I'm currently on night 6 in her own room and it's not going great!!! Just going to stick with it.
Definitely would recommend a comforter to help self soothe, my little girl won’t sleep without it!
@Natasha she’s got two comforters in there with her one on each side of her arms (she’s a tummy sleeper) @Megan this is our 4th night in her own room! Seems to be getting better as the nights go on praying I’ve not just jinxed it🤣
