My son was born 15th Feb and not heard anything about an appointment yet. However, my cousin's daughter is 3 weeks younger and she rang her health visitor to chase it up and got told there is a big backlog and did she have any concerns (she did as she suspects autism) so they gave her a fast track appointment a week later. So with you having concerns maybe give them a ring and they may be able to get you booked in x
There is a longggg backlog. We had our call today to get booked in. My son was born 17th Feb and we were offered 3rd June. Had to decline because we are on holiday so next date was 8th July.
In my area (Essex) they said it’s 2.5, however my friends little boy sounds similar to yours and she has seen the health visitor a few times , set up speech consultant etc so I would say push to have an apt and don’t wait for the review if you have concerns x
My daughter was born 23rd, I had a letter about 5/6 days ago with questionnaire and phone number to ring and book. So it might be coming any time!
Mine was born 29th January and it's not until the 13th may. Hearing wise, the gp can refer for a test
