House reno, toddler + pregnant

Is anyone else in the same boat? We have a nearly 2yo and I’m 32 weeks pregnant. We bought our house nearly a year ago and have been doing it up ourselves (every room has needed doing). Every evening and a lot of our weekends are spent on the house. I am so exhausted. I don’t think anyone realises how tiring it is unless you’ve done it. And living amongst the mess omg, having to tidy it all up every evening for my sanity. We are on the kitchen now, which is so stressful. We’ve got everything out the cupboards and are painting the cabinet doors. I just needed to vent and see if anyone else is going through something similar? I know we’re fortunate to have bought our house. My last pregnancy we were renting and all I wanted was to have our own house to get nursery nice etc but my god this is a lot.

We bought our house last August and didn’t need to do much to it, except freshen up all the rooms, which we didn’t do… now wanting to get my toddler’s room done (living with a Vardy decal) and our room (marvel wallpaper) before she arrives! Also sorting our new front door and really could do with wardrobes but time is ticking and I just want to chill out (as much as possible with a 3yo) 😫

I bought my house 2 years ago and needed a full renovation it’s been a slow process as funds started to run low, we are just nearing the end of it now with just needing to put skirting down and paint the living room but it’s been tough and at 7 months pregnant I am glad to be nearly done! No toddler but 3 needy sausage dogs and living in mess, chaos and having temporary moves out due to structural problems. I know the stress!
