Anyone else having issues with their Health Visitor. She overall seemed very uninterested and clearly not listening when we were talking to her about baby. Also, she has never picked up the phone when I was calling her. Lastly, when I called the health clinic to book a weighing slot and ask some questions our HV, the receptionist told me they no longer run this clinic. I asked how can I contact my HV and she said to go to some other walk in clinics that have scales there and that there will be HVs there as well. I am confused, don’t we all get a dedicated HV that we can ask questions etc on a regular basis?

Learn more about our guidelines.We don't, we haven't seen ours since he was 10 weeks with the option to go to the drop in clinic if we need to. We have baby scales at home so not had the need.
Our number for the health visitor is for a central office who call us back when a health visitor is available
No we last saw our HV around 8ish week. We then get discharged to the gp practice.
There’s a generic Hv line I can call for general advice or to book in weigh ins etc.
From working in a nursery I know most children are no longer under a named Hv unless there are other concerns eg developmental. Well it’s like that in Hampshire
I think it’s different in Camden because we see a health visitor every 3 months in their first year of life
@Holley same
Ours is very much ‘go to the drop in if you need anything’; we’ve had 2 different health visitors for our initial checks. Sadly I don’t think the NHS can cover having dedicated health visitors anymore, despite how important they are x
We had 2 visits and then they don't see them again til they're a year old here. I can go to the weigh in clinics or call their office but otherwise no interactions!
I still see my health visitor every two weeks
