Teething?
The past few days our 11 week old has been waking up often in the night, waking up crying during the day, keeps putting his fist in his mouth and seems like he's more irritable. We're not sure if he's beginning teething especially because he's so young still. No visible teeth in the gums, but also confused if there's bumps behind where his top teeth should be coming in. It doesn't look like teeth or ulcers but it seems like there's something there. Anybody have any ideas?

Teeth will descend into the gums a few weeks before they push through the gums. We’re dealing with this now. He had the top front teeth descend a few weeks ago and now the bottom ones at 16 weeks. Super drooly and fussy. But nothing has popped through and according to Dr probably won’t for awhile.
Also the underside of everybody’s gums is textured and bumpy if that’s the part you mean. It’s just weird to actually see it!
