6mo sleeps with mouth open

I understand that this is a sign of airway dysfunction. Does anyone have experience with how to address this or who to see to correct?

For my son he was a mouth breather/snores while he sleeps ,he has to go for a sleep study & go see a ear nose and throat specialist as my husband had to get his tonsils and adenoids out when he was 3 so they are suspecting my son has to have the same thing. He's also on a puffer for asthma and nose spray so he is able to use his nose
