Spit up
My son is 7 weeks old and breastfeeds half the time, bottle feeds the other half (4 oz pumped milk)
He spits up right after and it's a lot of spit up, looks like almost 2 oz worth
Is this normal? It's not really projectile but he does cough with it sometimes
A lot of the time it just pours out effortlessly

When my daughter was that young she did that too. I found pausing more frequently to burp helped some!

So my daughter who is 8 months did this a lot. Sometimes the breastfed babies will do it when they overfill on the for milk(the clear ish milk before the actual breast milk) sometimes to help you hand express before a feed(just a tiny bit) but their digestive systems aren’t fully mature but with age they typically get better at not overeating. Sometimes they overeat accidentally bc of the letdown being too fast for them 🤗 they say as long as it’s not more than 1-1.5 maybe 2 tablespoons it should be okay 🤗
