Anterior placenta

I’m 26 weeks and I swear I hate having a Anterior placenta because days like today when I’m hurting and haven’t felt my baby kick at all makes me so nervous somethings wrong. I’ll go days not feeling him and then days where okay can see my stomach move when he kicks. I have a appointment tomorrow with my ob which is the main reason I’m not running to the er to be checked.

Relatable!!! I went to the ER a lot with my first baby because of this and they always tell me she’s fine and when they do an ultrasound I always see her moving alot yet I never feel the movements. With this baby, I also have an anterior placenta and I’m not bothering myself like I did with the first baby. Although I must say I feel more movements with this pregnancy!

@Esther my first my placenta was in the back so I felt everything so this time I’m stressing over not feeling him. I do feel him more than I was told I would so that’s helped some but some days I don’t feel him at all. I was finally able to feel him tonight which helped make me feel better I ended up having to call my husband at work and put my phone on speaker so I could lay it on my belly and that got him moving.

Cold water make them move too

I had an anterior placenta with my first and it was so stressful. I ended up getting one of those dopplers to use at home to check her heartbeat. It eased a lot of my anxiety

I also heard cold water and sugary drinks like orange juice make them nove. Rest and tune in. I went to the ER with my first and it was more expensive than the birth itself lol
