Sometimes when I'm upset with my husband he says "It's not like I hit you or am really horrible to your every day. You need to get over it."
I don't know how to respond to him. The fact that his behaviour could be worse doesn't make what he has done okay.
Just be like wow basic human decency not hitting your companion thanks for pointing out the bare minimum, do better. Lol that’s crazy like yea he’s not *physically* abusive to you but if that’s the only standard he’s holding himself to then the bar is seriously in hell. Being empathetic to your wife that you’re in love with and made vows to is literally the least he could do.
