The best way to do it and quicker way is to just put her in underwear , honestly it was the best thing. After a little while my son asked me to take him to the toilet, then he just started going! The pull ups was why it was taking my son longer xx Get character underwear that she likes, sticker chart, and praise, praise , praise!!! Also don’t feel pressured, my son is almost 3 and a half and has just been potty trained xx
@Chantelle she’s been in underwear for the past 2 days (pull ups at night) and she is just wetting herself and it’s not even bothering her. We’ve been out the back garden coz the weather is nice and she just peed on the slabs and totally denied it, never asked to go to the toilet, never warned me she needed it, and would have quite happily sat in her wet knickers 😫 does this mean she’s not ready? Or do I persevere? I don’t know what to do xx
How about getting a “family” toilet seat? We swapped all ours so you can just flip down the smaller seat when she needs to use it, they’re so much easier! Have you tried books and potty training episodes of series she likes? Eg Daniel Tiger and Duggee. I would just refuse the nappies, we did the 3 day method and just stopped nappies completely apart from bedtime. It’s tricky when they’re defiant though!! 🙈
