Tends to fall asleep at the breast after 10-15 minutes, I then wake him up and switch him to the other breast for another 10-15.
My lg is on and off also. She can sometimes do 15-20 mins and sometimes will do like 5-10. I’ll switch sides once shes off one
Generally 10 mins minimum and up to 30 in one go, but often back on within the hour especially with the shorter feeds.
Between 10 and 20 mins, but always falls completely asleep and can never get him to take the other breast. The breastfeeding helpline said this was okay as some babies are just one breast babies, as long as he seems satisfied and putting on weight etc!
@Becky mine is the same. She will then wake up shortly after and is hungry again. I don’t feel confident that she has had a full feed. As sometimes she is just doing it for comfort.
Mine definitely has some comfort feeds, or is just sucking for comfort towards the end of each feed as he falls asleep. The helpline said if I wanted to I could swap breasts before he falls asleep but I didn't have to, and I'm not keen on breaking his latch if he seems content!
Feels like at the moment she’s on and off. Sometimes 5 mins sometimes 20 depends how hungry she is but she would cluster feed for ages !
