I did a cute engraved jar with chocolates and a gift card for his teacher. I also did a tray of cookies for the school staff.
Stationary! I am a teacher and most of us love it and we do use it. Cute whiteboard pens are top! Also, even though I love getting things, it gets too much easily. If 30 kids give you a mug every year… you know- you have a lot of mugs. (Insulated mug is a great present!) So things I can eat (chocolate, cookies, specialty olives, nuts..) or enjoy and discard (fresh flowers) Or a gift card are all great options. But let me tell you. A card personally written by a kid or a parent letting me know specifically how I helped or impacted them… THAT stuff makes me cry.
No mugs 😆 i was a preschool teacher and received at least 3 mugs every year. Things i loved/would have loved: some nice pens and paper, gift cards (even if they were just $5), a popcorn bucket with popcorn and seasoning, tea, flavored coffee grounds, one parent baked me a loaf of bread and made jam, a tote bag or lunch bag... basically things that can be used or consumed, lol.
We did candles, gift cards to their favorite stores, restaurants, and Starbucks, and their favorite snacks. Does your school provide any kind of lists to help? Ours gave us a list of all of their favorites that was a big help! Forgot to add - most importantly, heartfelt thank you cards! We always get photo thank you cards of our daughter printed and write sincere thank yous!
