Vaccines

Recently got my baby’s 4 month vaccines and he had a really bad reaction to them (got very sick). I’m now scared for him to get him third dose at 6 months. What are the arguments for vaccines for babies?

Reactions to vaccines can be totally normal (though not fun at all)! Long term health protection is 1000% worth the short term sickness!

Honestly ever since covid people are scared of vaccines but eat crazy junk food and don’t realize its slowly killing us 😭 my babies are all vaccinated up to date and I’m gonna say I’m grateful because they never really got sick 😃

Ur baby having a reaction and getting sick is totally normal due to a vaccine literally being an inactive component of the sickness being injected, my son always had gotten a mild cold after but it usually only lasted a couple of days, again which is totally normal even a fever is normal that’s why doctors advise to give Tylenol after shots

The 6 month vaccines should be the same ones and same doses so if your little one has a reaction at 6 months it will hopefully be lesser of any at all. My guy got slightly sick with the 4 month then no reaction to 6 month

Would you rather have: A reaction to jabs or serious sickness, hospitalization or even death from not doing it? Pretty easy choice. Our pediatrician gave us liquid children’s Tylenol at our son’s 2 month appointment this week (he got 4 jabs) and we only had to use it once because he was a bit uncomfortable (no fever, but he definitely had aches) and he was fine the next day. No comparison to spending time in the hospital.
