Potty training help

I need help potty training my son. I've tried everything in the book. (Leaving him naked, celebrating when he's on the toilet, giving him some snacks when he pees) Nothing is helping. He shows interest ( he hides behind the couch when needing to pee) but he doesn't want to go on the toilet at all. We even bought some training underwear and he still just pees in it and goes on with his day. How do I fix this??!?

How long did you do the naked method? Were you taking him to the bathroom on a schedule? What did you do when he peed himself?

We tried for a day. He hated being naked and kept trying to put his clothes back on. I'd catch him mid pee and quickly out him on toilet. Then explain that you go on the toilet. I've been trying to put him on the toilet every hour/ every hour and a half.

Have you tried commando ? Loose fitting bottoms no underwear/diaper

What's that

Oops, it’s loose fitting bottoms w no underwear or diaper underneath

We followed “oh crap” You move at your kids pace but essentially it’s naked from the waist down until they make the connection of the sensation of peeing with the action and the goal is to increase their awareness throughout the process. At the start they are unaware, then you want them to notice when they peed, then notice that they are currently peeing, then that they need to pee. As their awareness progresses you move from naked to commando and eventually to undies (it says undies can take 6+ weeks due to muscle memory of a diaper) It recommends carving out at least 3 days of not leaving the house, no screen time etc so full focus is on potty training

It also says to not expect your child to reliably ask for the potty for several weeks but some kids do it sooner

My son doesn't even seem to know or care that he's peeing. He does hide when he poops. We haven't started training yet.
