Anyone else feel like they're overeating?

Not the baby, me šŸ˜‚ I'm breastfeeding my LO, and for the past month or so, my appetite has been crazy and I've been putting weight back on, which I'm not happy about. Since I've returned to work, I haven't been able to get into a workout routine. I'm a single mom, so it's hard for me to make time for it. Im still down 20lbs from my heaviest pregnancy weight, but I was down 30 before, and this 10lbs has been yo-yoing. I'm just wondering if it's really the demands of breastfeeding or if something else is going on. Any advice is welcoming (though I'm really not about to start counting calories, too, time-consuming for me right now).

This is my third time breastfeeding and my appetite has been more this time than before

I feel ravenous breastfeeding this time around. I'm always hungry and snacking. I've not gained or lost since the initial weight loss after birth. I'm honestly afraid to start working out or dieting because I fear I will lose my supply.

My first kid, I was hungry all the time, so much I would snack in the middle of the night. With this one, I can *almost* forget about eating. We eat dinner with the toddler at 6pm and I don't eat again until 7/8 in the morning when me and the baby wake up. It's weird.

Meee meee mee...everytime i breastfeed i eat soo much. Its crazy

You burn so so so many cals breastfeeding ... I say eat!

This is my second time around and I’m over 10 pounds beyond my heaviest pregnancy weight and it definitely happened within the last month. I started working out Tuesday and I’m still gaining weight. I’m trying to remain positive and stay active but I started questioning if there’s something going on with my thyroid cuz I have never weighed this much in my life. I tried eating less for 2 days and had a serious headache both days. I HAVE to eat if I’m going to keep exclusively feeding the baby

I try to eat really dense and nutritious foods. You can find tonnes of recipes online. But they should have a lot in them relative to their size.. like eggs or peanut butter! If you want to make time to workout… I’ve seen ā€œmom workoutsā€ where you workout by playing with your kids so you can kill two birds with one stone. Good luck! Also, remember if you’re exercising you need fuel… and since you’re also breastfeeding you’re going to need a lot. Don’t be afraid to eat, especially when you’re hungry

I would say just focus on eating healthy meals and don’t worry so much about the 10lbs yo yoing. You are actually feeding your baby from your own customize milk. It’s the best thing you can do for them! Be proud and know that you can always make a plan to get back to the gym and lose weight more once you wean baby. I’ve gained back the weight I lost after giving birth and I’m just reminding my self that it’s not important right now to lose weight, I need to maybe gain some so I can make nutritious milk for my son! I am so proud of my body for doing this! My goal is a year of breastfeeding and maybe more if he wants and depending on how I’m feeling about it. But I know that once I’m done then I can put more focus on weight loss!
