Milk at night

Does anyone have any tips on how to give cows milk at night without the need to run downstairs for the microwave to warm it? I.e is it ok in a flask, can it just be left at room temp over night? What are people doing? Thank you xx

I’m pretty sure it’s probably not ok in a flask as milk needs to be kept cold. Maybe a mini fridge in your room and a bottle warmer could work, or have a look into milks that don’t need to be kept in fridge

I ended up buying the whole milk carton that can be dry stored and saving that for when I don’t want to go downstairs! I’m currently still using the remainder of my Kendamil ready made until they run out

You can’t leave any open milk at room temperature for more than 2 hours so you would just have to use a bottle warmer upstairs

My daughter falls asleep before she finishes her bottle and if she wakes in the night/morning definitely picks it up and finishes it off, and she’s absolutely fine. She also licked the bottom of my croc yesterday, and I’m pretty sure there’s more bacteria there

@Katie this is a good idea!! Thank you! I was going to get some of the premade bottles but they’re expensive and I’ll have to then wean her off the formula so it just seemed like I was replacing a habit with a habit. I’ll have a look into the dry stored milk, thank you x

@Indy do you just leave it out for her? Or in a fridge? & that’s so true😆 mine has taken to licking the walls recently so that’s fun!

Yes I’m only using the ready made bottles till they run out as I’m trying to wean my boy off formula too, I also have a bottle of water upstairs aswell for him too which I am replacing his usually bottle of milk with too upstairs, it’s not an easy transition but we will get there! xx
