Toddler holds it in
I recently started potty training my toddler and at first she was using the toilet but now it seems like she’s scared to go. She doesn’t want to use the toilet nor does she go in her diaper. She waits until she can’t hold it anymore to release. She’ll sit on the toilet for a second then leave then comes back and repeats the same thing again.
👋☺ Hi @Jennifer ...As a professional potty training coach and a nanny, child care giver for 4 decades, I always have the best success using a small toddler potty on the floor for potty learning before introducing a child to sitting up on the regular big adult toilet. At least in the beginning, until they're a little more experienced with toileting.
