Breastfed babies

Do any of your babies breath smell like nail polish remover ever? I read it could be high level of ketones. I am curious before I talk to doctor.

I've never smelt that on my daughters breath

No, I'd get that checked out. Maybe you're smelling bile? Does she spit up a lot?

No, but that can be a sign of diabetic ketoacidosis as you mentioned so I would definitely speak to your pediatrician about it ASAP.

I’d call pediatrician asap, can definitely be a sign of DKA. It’s a weird smell between nail polish remover and runtz candy’s.
