We bath 2-3 times a week then do a wipe down wash on the other days. I've started using a newborn friendly bath soap and moisturiser just from Tesco. You don't have to moisturise if you don't think baby needs it but we've tried to do a bit of baby massage as apparently it's got some benefits for baby. I don't put pressure on myself to do it though as sometimes he's not keep on the getting ready after a bath! X
We do twice a week with Oilatum bath wash as she has some eczema xx
We bathe our 9 week old every other day-she loves a bath! We have a bottle of breast milk that she can't drink (pumped after I've had a glass of wine, dregs of old bottles etc) that we add into the water as apparently this is good for their skin. We also use Fred and Flo Top to Toe body wash for bubbly fun and will occasionally follow up with baby lotion, depending on if we've noticed little patches of dry skin or not.
We do twice a week (this week more due to poonamies). I put her soap in the bath as well as on the sponge and then I moisturise her after she's all dry
We bath daily and have done since 7 weeks, but for us the bath is so much less stressful than topping/tailing! In the bath he’s calm and having fun slashing away whereas when we would do a wipe down clean he’d scream hysterically the whole time 😱😭 All we put in the bath is some expressed breast milk, I haven’t started using any soaps or lotions yet, but you can start introducing them from 6 weeks so could be worth trying a moisturising lotion after baths if your little one’s skin feels dry. Only introduce one new product at a time that way if she does have a reaction to something you know exactly what product to stop using xx
I always make a bath with plain water then use a body wash/ shampoo in one and then night oil on body and moisturiser on face. And we do a bath twice a week xx
