Daytime sleep

My LO is 7 weeks and for the last week or so will only contact nap in the day. She used to nap either on us or in her Moses basket and had no problem going 1.5-2 hours in there! We don’t have any issues with nighttime sleep, she will happily be in the basket then. Of course I’m happy to have her sleep on me in the day but I am finding it slightly suffocating at times, especially in the heat…Also finding she is fighting sleep massively in the afternoon so going over wake windows. Where are your babies sleeping in the day? Do you pop them in a sack and dim lights/move to bedroom or do you keep them in the living room where it’s light and loud?

Hi Jennifer, my LO will be 7 weeks tomorrow. But so far he is a good sleeper. His window time only 30-45 minutes. So In the day I put him sleep in his bed, but if he found it difficult to sleep, I then move him to my rocking chair. It's called 4moms, he loves it somuch and he can sleep for 1.5 hours in the chair. And sometimes I move him to bed after he feltt sleep in the chair.

Could have written this myself, my LO slept amazingly in her dockadot or even in her stationary pram in the day up until now. (Also 7 weeks) I just can’t get anything done when every nap is on me and like you I find it a bit suffocating. I was told light and loud in the day so they distinguish night and day. When I’m loud now she’ll also startle and wake whereas before she would sleep through the vacuum etc Feel like we are taking backward steps!

My little one is the same with her Moses basket now but she does sleep a little longer in her rocker. I have a toddler so we are always downstairs in a noisy environment. If she sleeps she sleeps if she doesn’t she doesn’t kind of thing 🤣 x

Thank you everyone! My little one has a rocker which she is happy to sleep in, maybe I’ll just stick to that for daytime naps xx

Same & I have a toddler! It’s so difficult! Saying that though she is currently asleep in her pram in the hallway.
