My HV home appt at 30wks was literally a sit down conversation to discuss how we were feeling and resources available to us, what role they play in you and your families life. She didnt look around or anything.

Someone told me they inspect your house and that terrified me but it wasn’t like that at all! She just asked if we’d planned where baby will sleep, how I plan on feeding ect it was really chilled. Tbh I loved my HV she was so lovely, helpful and approachable

Noooo it's just to introduce themselves and get to know you. I had my partner literally scrubbing the stairs and she sat down in the living room and just had a chat!

I never knew health visitors do come during pregnancy

I'm at 34 weeks now and never got this visit 😅 might mention it at my midwife appointment tomorrow

If it’s already up they’ll offer to have a look but can also just talk to you about it. Mine was a phone call rather than a visit. Will talk about your support network and how you are feeling
