28 weeks tomorrow, just wondering how much weight people have put on so far. I weighed myself this morning and have gained 1.5 stone, how does this compare?
I’m 5ft 1 and a size 8 pre pregnancy.

I asked not to be told and I haven’t weighed myself this pregnancy. Im also 5ft 1 and was a size 8/10 and last time I put on between 1.5 and 2 stone. I was happy and healthy but I’m struggling a bit this time excepting my pregnancy body. I feel like I’m gaining the same amount of weight this time though.

I'm 24w+ and I haven't weighed myself since my 12 week appointment. In the first 12 weeks I lost weight, since then I'm not sure. I don't think I've put on much, I may have actually lost more, but the difference is I was a size 18-20 to begin with. I think generally speaking, if you're slight to begin with, you'll probably put on more weight than someone who is already overweight - but this is a very generalised statement.
I wouldn't worry too much, your body is doing what it needs to do for baby! Xx

I've gained around a stone and a couple of pounds. Totally normal x

I’ve also gained just over a stone so far. I think I gained 2.5-3 stone in my last pregnancy but I definitely over ate then too and my whole body looked bigger whereas this time I just look like I have a massive bump but the rest of my body still looks how it used to pre pregnancy (for now 🤣)

I haven’t weighed myself, it’s not something that is healthy for me to do. I am 5ft 3 and a previous size 8, I’d say most of my body looks pretty similar but definitely have put a bit of weight on - but I don’t want to know how much!
Remember a lot of that will be the baby, uterus, placenta, and all the extra blood etc! Don’t beat yourself up about it. It will come off afterwards if you need it to :)
I only did because I weighed the dog and then calculated it in my head after 😂 I know I can lose it, I just worked so hard pre pregnancy hahah

Hahah that’s hilarious. What type of dog do you have? If you’re fit and healthy before I’ve heard it’s easier afterwards so I’m sure you’ll be fine :)
French bulldog, 3 of them 😂
I’m hoping so but exercise went off the cards as soon as I got that positive test hahahaha

Sweet! I have a mini dachshund.
I tried in my first trimester but it was hard. I am however finding it easier in my second now I have some energy! Have you tried swimming?
Not during pregnancy no, the aftermath is just hard work 😂 ive heard it’s good in pregnancy though!

Maybe give it a go :) I’m going tomorrow :)

I lost 5st before pregnancy gained 1st 2lbs so far currently 27 weeks

I haven’t weighed myself… honestly I’m a bit scared to. I was a size 10 (but could squeeze into size 8 jeans but was always bigger on top due to my chest size) before. I can still wear a lot of size 10 clothes and wearing size 10 maternity clothes and a few ordinary size 12 tops.
Focusing on dress sizes is a bit easier for me than weight. Even when I was a size 8 my bmi was still very high (27) , im 5 2 and I know I can get a bit obsessed with it.

don’t worry, BMI is a really outdated and inaccurate way of assessing if someone is a healthy weight. I don’t know why the NHS still use it to be honest :)
tbh yeah I’m still wearing my size 8/10s but they are all tight stretchy dresses lol

I've gained about 9kg so far. I gained 15kg in my first pregnancy. Still in size 8/10 though as I have a small bump.

I’ll be 25 weeks tomorrow and I’ve gained 4 pounds, I had quite bad nausea up until 12 weeks and struggled a lot to eat and actually lost a stone. They diagnosed me too with GD from blood results but I’m yet to have the glucose test to confirm so due to cutting out a lot of things too my weight hasn’t really done much but I do have a high BMI so losing a stone has actually done me a world of good. Everyone is so different! X

Stay away from the scales!! It will all come off as long as your active after pregnancy and big tip breastfeeding gets your shape back super quick.

I’m 5ft 1 and size 10 pre pregnancy
I’ve gained 12.6lbs from starting weight
Currently 27 weeks pregnant
Everyone is different. Your body is doing what it needs to support you and baby best 🥰

I’m 30+3 and have gained 9lbs in total. I didn’t gain a massive amount with my first either. But imagine I’ll put on the most in these last weeks as they said 3rd trimester is when you gain most x
