Little girl is filthy when I pick her up from nursery.
Not sure if I’m being over dramatic about this but when I go to pick my little girl up from nursery she’s absolutely filthy. They don’t wipe her hands and face properly after food. They eat at 3pm and she still has the food around her mouth when I pick her up at 4-5. I get that they play outside and will get somewhat dirty but she’s covered in a layer of dirt. Is this normal? I don’t know if I should say something?

Yeah I had to have a word with the manager last week I don’t mind stains on his clothes but the state of his face dried food and in his hair and hands looking dirty pissed me off. Takes 5 secs to give them a wipe after they eat so pure laziness. We haven’t had issues since so would definitely say something. I’m sorry but if I dropped him off in the state I pick him up I would be accused of neglect it’s just carelessness puts me in such a bad mood when he looks really scruffy at pick up.
@Idil yes exactly! It’s been really annoying me and I hate to be the one to say something but you’re right I pay them enough money the least they can do is clean her properly!

My son also comes back scruffy from nursery. He had soil in his hair and ears today. It used to annoy me but I just embrace it now. Always looks like he’s had a good day 😂 the only bit that does annoy me is when they change his outfit so he has 2/3 dirty lots of clothes to wash rather than just the one
